Our heart is broken by the devastating bushfires that have engulfed Australia since September 2019. Devastatingly, since the beginning of the bushfires, over 12 million hectares of Australian land has gone up in flames. Along with that, half a billion animals lives have been taken (one third of the Koala population is said to have been wiped out) and 23 human lives have been lost.
