If only we had a crystal ball that could tell us when fashion trends would come in and out of date, we could plan our wardrobes and know what to start buying.
There is nothing worse than going out and filling your wardrobe with a particular trend only to find that three months later it has disappeared forever.
With that in mind, Fashionising.com recently took a look at some of the future trends for fall and winter:
Sleepwear as daywear
It’s hard to believe that pyjamas are now an acceptable choice of daywear, but the pyjama pant suit and the slinky slip dress is making its way firmly into the wardrobe. Sleepwear can range from a silk one-piece jumpsuit to pyjama top mini dress, and slips can look stunning teamed with a smokey eye.
Minimal with folds – outerwear trend
Take the classic wool coat and add a angular fold for detail, and you’ve got yourself the hottest trend for winter. Angular folds and sculptured collars will be all the rage, as will bows, origami-style shapes and leather trenches with folded lapels.
Punk fashion
We’re talking modern punk here and not the 70s rebellion. Studded detailing, choker necklaces and edgy leather jackets are all wardrobe essentials.
